Identifying a Genuine Man of God

Please briefly explain why you feel this question should be reported.
There are so many false preachers out there, people igniting strange fires or setting up strange altars, and teaching falsely (mixing a bit of truth with a truckload of lies) and leading many to hell.
Please I’d like to know how does one identify a genuine preacher, pastor or “Man of God”? Thank you.

A genuine man of God lives the word. His words and actions are in consonance with the bible. He does not do things contrary to the written word of God and whatever God does through him, he returns the glory back to God. He does not share God’s glory with Him (Isaiah 42:8, Matthew 7:15-23).
