Interesting question. I’m a woman but I don’t believe cooking is the exclusive preserve of the woman or wife in the home. If the man is great at cooking and is a loving kind man, he should assist the wife in the cooking of meals.

Who is better at cooking, who makes tastier food. If both of them can cook, take turns.

I totally agree with LuluHina. What if the husband is a world renowned chef – it’s quite likely he will be the better cook. Ultimately, I believe in Marriage we are to love one another, share with one another, encourage one another, help one another and generally be selfless towards each other. It’s not about “me” but about “us”. It’s not about rules and roles but efficient, loving and respectful blending into a single unit. The roles can help guide the relationship but must never be allowed to become an instrument of division.
