I am know longer getting spiritual edification from my church. I was invited by a friend to her church for a service once and I was richly blessed. Would it be wrong if I leave my church and start worshipping in my friends church?

You’re 100% responsible for your life. Just as with physical nourishment, you equally need spiritual nourishment. However, be careful about what you eat and even where you eat too. If you repeatedly eat junk food, it will tell on your physical body. Similarly, eating spiritual junk food will make you unhealthy in the spirit.
I am not against people leaving one location if it is not beneficial to them. Take a hint from John’s disciples when they met Jesus, they left John and followed Jesus. Pray about being fed directly by the Father and don’t be swayed simply because you loved one sermon at your friend’s church. Follow Jesus. Likewise, keep seeking the Truth, first and foremost from the Bible and not from men, and in time, God will provide you access to knowledge in His own way.

Hi dakhot,
I completely agree with you. Your example with regards to John’s disciples switching to Jesus is awesome.

Hello Princess
I don’t see anything wrong in that. Although I do understand your sense of loyalty. In truth, when it comes to your walk with God you have to make the right decisions for you.
God bless you.
